If you have ever wondered what the Chevrolet SSR would have looked like if it was made in 1972, look no further than this 1972 ‘Chevrolet Roadster’ found for sale on Craigslist in Detroit.
According to the listing, this “cute little roadster” started out life as a 1972 Chevy Longbox pickup truck. It appears to use the truck’s front bumper, although it’s been shrunk by about 70 percent, and its headlights and hood. It also has custom interior with Adirondack deck chair-style seats and a miniature steering wheel. Under the hood is an-specified Chevy V8 mated to cruise-friendly automatic transmission.
This custom roadster looks pretty well put together to our eye, but we’ll let you decide if that makes it worthy of its $28,000 asking price. There are a few more photos of this Craigslist special on the listing, right here.
