All the best things about the 2015 Corvette Z06 carry over into the recently unveiled Z06 Convertible. You get the same intense aerodynamics, the same carbon ceramic brakes and the same 625 horsepower supercharged LT4 V8. That also means you get the same raucous exhaust note belching out of the car’s four exhaust tips.
Normally you’d have to wait until the Z06 goes on sale to hear its ludicrously loud start up and idle, but one videographer managed to capture the supercar starting up before being loaded onto a covered car carrier. The Blade Silver drop top Z06 roars into life, burbling and bellowing as it’s slowly driven onto the truck. This video is great and all, but it’s just making us that much more anxious to hear the range-topping C7 at full chat. That time will come eventually, but for now, the video below will have to suffice.
