Opel unveiled the sportiest Adam to date at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week, the Adam S. The performance oriented Adam is powered by a turbocharged 1.4 liter 4-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower and features a host of race-inspired modifications including a lip kit, rear spoiler, 18-inch wheels, brakes from Opel’s OPC division and Recaro bucket seats.
Unfortunately, words and pictures don’t quite do the Adam S justice, and we all can’t head over to Switzerland to see the car in person on the show floor in Geneva. That is why chief designer for the Adam S, Niels Loeb, provided us with this informative walk-around video. Few people know the Adam as well as Loeb, so join him as he explains some his favorite parts of the Adam S in the video below.

The Adam range is expanding now, hopefully the VXR/OPC model isn’t too far away. It would be nice to see GM team up with Lotus again & build a VX220 / Speedster replacement at Hethel, Norfolk, UK. This could also be built with differing looks as a Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet & Holden.
