For a car that arrived on the market relatively recently, we’ve seen our fair share of wrecked Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays. The most recent one comes courtesy of Jalopnik, who found this badly damaged Cyber Gray C7 sitting in an Insurance Auto Auctions lot in Detroit.
The Corvette is one of the more badly damaged C7s we’ve seen, with almost all exterior panels on the driver’s side missing, including the door. The damage is described by the auction site as being primarily on the left side, with secondary damage “all over”.
The car is rather well-equipped, with 3LT trim and the Z51 performance package. At the time of the accident, it had just 562 miles on the odometer, meaning it had just passed the 500-mile suggested break-in period.
Only the driver’s side airbag deployed when the Corvette was wrecked. Between this and missing door, we are going to assume the driver side swiped something on the left side of the car at speed. The engine and transmission appear to be fully intact, so naturally, the LT1 is just begging to be pulled out and dropped into something else, like this Chevrolet LUV truck. Check out the full ad for the car right here.

What a waste of such a beautiful car!!!
I’ll still love her and give her a good home!

Doesn’t the vette have an air bag weight check in the passenger seat? That’s the only reason why the passenger side wouldn’t have went off.
Watch out, the idiot Corvette driver are commin’ out in full-force!
