Some of you may not know this, but Michigan native and Home Improvement star Tim Allen is a huge car guy. He has a sizeable car collection, consisting of many General Motors classics, including a 1968 427 COPO Camaro.
Allen’s ’68 Camaro is not a real COPO, but rather a 1968 Camaro which has been subtly modified using some modern parts, including the 505 horsepower LS7 engine and Brembo disc brakes. The car was featured on a recent installment of Jay Leno’s Garage, which sees Leno and Allen discuss the history of the COPO name and all the small details on his modified Camaro before the two take the car out for a cruise in the California sun. Let’s hope the next Camaro is half as kool as Tim’s. The NO console is great looking! And, you can see out the windows.
When Tim drives his Camaro, does he exclaims: “To infinity and beyond!”?
