The Backyard Featuring The Opel Adam Rocks: Video

Opel introduced us to the rugged, beefed up version of the Adam city car, the Adam Rocks, at the Geneva Motor Show last week. The rocks is set apart from its peers in the Adam range by its revised suspension, which sits 15mm higher than the standard car’s, optional convertible canvas top and protective body cladding.

The Rocks will also debut Opel’s new 1.0 liter, three-cylinder turbocharged SIDI engine when it goes on sale this summer. The engine will eventually find its way under the hood of every model in the Adam range, joining the existing 1.2 liter and 1.4 liter engine options.

Unfortunately, summer is still pretty far away, so it’s going to be awhile before you get to see photos of the Adam Rocks outside of the Geneva Motor Show floor. For those of you who are eager to see the car in action and not sitting on a stand in a convention center, Opel has provided a video which shows two Adam Rocks’ chasing each other around an abandoned warehouse. The short film is an extended version of the introduction clip which we showed you in back February and should further familiarize you with latest Adam’s new looks. Check it out below.
