Reuters is reporting that General Motors has requested its dealers to stop selling the 2013-14 Chevrolet Cruze with the 1.4L turbo four. This is only for cars sitting on dealer lots and not private individuals who already own such a car. This is not a recall, and currently there is no explanation given for this request.
The 1.4-liter turbo accounts for about 60 percent of sale. “I can just confirm that we put a stop-sale in last night,” GM spokesman Alan Adler said. He indicated he did not have any more information why the action was taken but said stop-sale orders usually mean the dealers need to do something to the vehicle before it can be sold.
Earlier reports included Cruzes equipped with the diesel motor but that has since been corrected.

Oh no, not more bad news, as if GM needed any more.
Check your information GMAuthority. I’m hearing from dealer managers that not all 1.4L are included and some 1.8L models (LS) may be included. It seems to be more related to time of production.
WHAT!!!!! I just picked mine up two days ago!!!
