General Motors broke ground Thursday on a new $30 million reduced scale wind tunnel at its aerodynamic testing facility on the Warren Technical Center campus.
GM says the investment will improve testing capabilities and support aerodynamic development, critical for the automaker’s global CO2 compliance strategy. The new facility will enable a 50 percent increase in reduced scale testing capacity and a 25 percent increase in full-scale testing, creating 5 new jobs in the process.
A ceremony marking the start of construction on the wind-tunnel was held at the site Thursday, with GM and City of Warren officials in attendance.
I guess you could say GM broke wind?
