“Forged in darkness, born in flames,” the FireBreather Camaro is a Pontiac Firebird-esque late-model Camaro that was previewed at the 2010 Detroit Autorama. Produced by Detroit-based Exxodus Pictures, they call it “a seamless union between two industries producing a first-of-its-kind super-exotic American muscle car featured in a motion picture.” Now, four years later, FireBreather (this time a “Signature Series” edition) will come alive on April 4th in the movie Jinn.
This is the first time that a movie-based vehicle is made to be purchased by the audience. Classic Design Concepts will be responsible for building all 50 examples at 60 grand a pop. with the following modifications:
- FireBreather front facia with hexagonal grille inserts (a nod to Pontiac)
- FireBreather headlamps with EL eyebrow lighting
- FireBreather hood with secondary shaker scoop
- FireBreather rocker molding extensions
- FireBreather rear fascia with custom taillights
- FireBreather side scoops with integrated louvers
- FireBreather decklid spoiler
- FireBreather 20×10 wheels with red reflective graphics
- Pirelli 275/40 ZR20 and 295/40 ZR20 P-Zero Rosso tires
The interior also receives some modifications, but we’re performance fans and are more interested in the chassis:
- Eibach Pro-Plus performance lowering springs and anti-sway bars
- FireBreather cold-induction system
- Edelbrock E-Force supercharger system (599 horsepower from the 6.2L)
- Hurst short-throw shifter (for the 6-speed)
- JBA 3″ Cat-back performance dual exhaust system
And the movie? Check out the Jinn website but why not start with the trailer below?

I would have no problem paying $10k for that as a body kit. And, I would have no problem buying a Camaro just to put that body kit on it.
The problem is the massive expense of a warranty-voiding performance kit I don’t want or need. Sigh.
Just another car to be forgotten in time.
I would rather just spend the money for a ZL1. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
That looks really cool. It reminds me of the Firebird that could’ve been…
You can always buy a used one and get the kit put on Christopher?
Connection loss ate my reply, but in short they aren’t able to do that because they didn’t think through licensing with the movie production company. Massive misstep on their part, I was hoping they would work it out… but I haven’t heard news in over a year so I doubt it.
