Opel dropped their most insane hatchback ever on us at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, the Astra OPC Extreme. The OPC Extreme is a crazy 300 horsepower Astra with a six-speed manual transmission, a racecar-inspired aerodynamics kit and lightweight carbon fiber galore. But some of the OPC Extreme’s best features are located where the majority of people will never see them, the interior.
Opel engineers removed those pesky back seats the standard Astra comes with (who needs those?) and replaced it with a roll-cage. They then diverted their attention to the front seats, which were ditched in favor of custom suede Recaro seats, complete with contrasting yellow stitching and six-point point racing harnesses. Much like the exterior, the interior has carbon fiber everywhere you look, including on the dash and on the steering wheel.
