A few months ago Cadillac unveiled the 2015 Escalade, the fourth generation of the mightiest American SUV known to Man. Sure, Lincoln was first with the Navigator, but Cadillac one-upped Lincoln so hard that FoMoCo’s luxury brand has been playing catch-up for quite awhile. So why not spec out your own person Escalade while the Caddy still reigns?
To be the King of Bling, start with a visit to Cadillac’s Escalade configurator and choose between the 2WD (starting at $72,690) or 4WD ($75,290) version. Then choose your trim level, which could be:
- Standard
- Luxury
- Premium
- ESV Standard (“Escalade Stretch Vehicle”)
- ESV Luxury
- ESV Premium
The latter adds about $8500 to the base price, but it takes money to flaunt money, right? Next, choose your color—what color would you like? There’s four standard colors plus three extra-cost hues priced from $495 to $995. Inside, there are three interior choices, with the one extra-cost choice being the $2000 “Kona Brown with Jet Black Accents, Full Leather Seats with Mini Perforated Inserts.” Underneath you’ll find two wheel choices with the optional one costing $500, but chances are if you’re a man or woman of high esteem, you’ll find something sold in the aftermarket industry. Any other option are sundries in comparison, such as power-retractable assist steps, but when you’re flaunting it, why not go all the way? For slightly more than 90 grand (before taxes and fees), you can have a completely loaded Escalade ESV Premium.
