When Buick wanted to make an ad that was a little different than what any other brands in the automotive industry were doing, they consulted the YouTube-famous video and music producer, Kurt Hugo Schneider. Schneider first garnered media attention from filming a friend singing covers and medleys of famous songs and in 2013, he produced a musical commercial for Coca-Cola which aired during the season premiere of American Idol.
For Buick, Schneider put together a commercial where a catchy beat is made using just a Buick Regal GS, some basketballs and a willing (and rather talented) group of participants. The spot has your attention almost as soon as it begins, and between the rhythmic beat and troupe of dribblers, it becomes almost impossible to look away. Check out the ad below and let us know what you think of this different approach from Buick in the comments.
