It goes without saying that thieves suck. Fred Williams, the host of Dirt Every Day on the Motor Trend Channel, knows this all too well—he had his military-spec Chevy Silverado pickup stolen a number of years ago. However, a few years later, he has found a CUCV (“Commercial Utility Cargo Vehicle”) K30 truck to replace his old one.
In the below video, Fred visits  to the Off-Road Connection in Alabama to start the process of building the Alabama Army Truck. First step, get the 6.2 diesel running and see how it will perform four-wheeling.
In the second installment of Dirt Every Day, the up-and-running K30 will be receiving a new set of brakes (including master cylinder) and tires, suspension lift, and who knows what else—you think we’re gonna spoil it for ya?
Dirt Every Day appears every other Thursday on the Motor Trend Channel on YouTube.

I noticed on the second vid it looked like they drove through someone’s weed patch. Is that how they funded this project?
