It has been a long time coming, but GM seems to be having some success in growing in the import-dominated West Coast. And the 2014 ELR recently paid a visit to Santa Monica — a key West Coast market for The General. Nice pic, wouldn’t you say?

I’ve seen an ELR in my neighborhood (we like to say Beverly Hills-adjacent) with manufacturer plates. But you can’t imagine how many Tesla Model Ses I see on a daily basis. It’s staggering. Even on short trips around town, I see at least half a dozen and sometimes more. Sure, it’s a wealthy area, but the adoption of the Tesla has been faster than any other new luxury model I’ve seen. The ELR should find some buyers, however, as it’s an extended-range EV and its stunningly beautiful.
