Spy shots of the facelifted Buick Excelle GT undergoing testing have surfaced on Car News China. The updated sedan, which shares its Delta II underpinnings with the Opel Astra, will go on sale in China later this year.
Car News China says the new Excelle will have a large waterfall style grille, new headlights and tail lamps, updated bumpers and revisions for the interior.
The updated Excelle will have the same power train options on offer as the outgoing model. That means a 147 horsepower, 1.8 liter engine or a 184 horsepower 1.6 liter turbocharged engine paired to a five speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing for the new car is expected to be similar to that of the current car, which ranges from 132,700 yuan ($21, 593 US) to 187,300 yuan ($30,447 US) in China.
