“The New Freedom,” Starring The Chevrolet Volt: Ad Break

What better way is there to frighten a child, then the daunting realization of a car running out of power in the middle of a desert? Well apparently none, as this recent ad release from Chevrolet intends to prove. Luckily, for the dynamic duo of a jesting father and a scared young son, in a new 2014 Chevrolet Volt there is no need to fret, as even when the electrical juice runs out, there is a gasoline powered generator to save the day from the impending doom of unsatisfying snake entrees, and perilous treks across the expansive wasteland.

Impressively, at the end of the western-inspired Sochi 2014 Olympics commercial, viewers are informed that they need not worry of such unexpected expeditions as Volt owners who regularly charge their electric vehicles achieve nearly 900 miles between gasoline fill-ups.
