Lighting The 2015 Cadillac Escalade: Video

Cadillac’s Art and Science design philosophy means two things: the car must be beautiful, but cannot sacrifice performance or functionality in the pursuit to be aesthetically appealing. This outlook is exemplified in the 2015 Cadillac Escalade and, particularly, in its headlights.

The headlights utilize five different segments of lenses which are separated by metal segments, giving the lights the look of fine-cut crystal. Each of the five lenses also differ slightly in their brightness, providing a unique low-beam pattern.

The headlights also use long, tall LED’s for the high-beam. 48 LED’s, 17 for each headlamp and seven for each lower fascia lamp, make up the front lighting segments of the new Escalade.

Keep an eye out for this unique, unmistakable headlight design on the roads as the 2015 Escalade’s spring 2014 release date nears closer.
