At the NADA Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana from January 24 through January 27, Southern Comfort Automotive is bringing a little more ruckus than normal with what appears to be an insane take on the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. All we have is a teaser to go off of, however. At least for now.
SCA worked with big tuning company names such as Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Fox Racing to bring the truck to life, and aims for the jugular of the Ford F-150 Raptor, so we know that it’s going to be a force when the paved road turns into untamed trails. Shortly after its unveiling, the Silverado Reaper will be available at participating Chevrolet dealerships that distribute Southern Comfort vehicles. Stay tuned for the official specs.

All they show is the front grille and lights? That is a no-show for me. I have seen a few F-150 Raptors down here in Puerto Rico, but if GM doesn’t compete, the raptor will take over the sport truck market.
Raptors cost just short of $90,000. At that price I don’t think they will go beyond niche numbers.
They start at $45,000 — and now are available widely enough that there is no dealer markup for “added market value”.
Raptors cost nowhere near $90k…even with every single available option….
