Just a few minutes ago, GM product chief Mark Reuss welcomed the Corvette C7.R race car onto the stage at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The race car drove out onto the rotating display, stopped, and revved its engine. The sound that ensued was nothing short of beastly. Watch for yourself:

I heard a lot of noise but no engine rumbles. Whoever took that video had a very cheapo phone. Where was the professional cameramen and their audio systems?
