General Motors India is reported to launch a refreshed version of the Chevrolet Beat (Spark) in the country by mid-2014. European and North American markets received the updated mini-car previous to its reveal at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but the revisions have yet find their way onto India’s Beat variant.
Three years after its introduction into the Indian market, the Beat will receive the redesigned grille and fog lamps of the 2013 Spark, a new set of alloy wheels and a new rear hatch spoiler. The interior will also receive minor cosmetic changes and new upholstery.
The Beat will retain the same power plants, a 1.2 liter gasoline engine and a 0.9 liter diesel unit, both paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. However it is rumored that the 1.0 liter gasoline engine offered in the European Spark, along with an automatic transmission (if not a CVT), may find their way into the updated Beat.

They should also offer the Spark EV as the Beat EV.
What an ugly car. The front end is hideous. The headlights belong on a car three times the size. The huge grill is awful and then they plaster the huge bow tie on it. Chevy finally has a nice looking front end on the camaro and the impala/traverse. Every chevy should be adopting a variation of this look.
I have zero problems with this car!
