It’s only been two weeks since the debut of the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe, new Crest and all, and already D3 Cadillac is at work piecing together what sort of cosmetic touches it could do for the sleek two-door.
Note that compared to the ATS Coupe that was shown at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, this D3 ATS Coupe features a mesh grille, lowering springs, blackened wheels, and some tint work. Sinister, to say the least. Though not entirely official, as D3 points out to us that the design is “speculative” to what the team will actually end up doing once they receive a vehicle to develop on. Hopefully it’s exact to the rendering.

Just a teaser but I like what I’m seeing, now if only they could drop a V8 in one of these.
This is cool looking as a cruiser, but I would like to see something done in the form of body panels like those done on Audi or BMW. This D3 version does not show much difference from the stock ATS only the rims and it being lowered. I want to see them challenge the Europeans at their own game and kill them.
The front end, under the grill is quite a bit different as well. Looks like they blacked out the chrome trim around the door too. I would like to see a side skirt for it as well though.
That is nice, I would love to get something like that for my ATS coupe.
