The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will be adding a rather unique hue to its color palette beginning in February at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. but consumers will have to wait until June for the  color. And that color is… Deep Magenta Metallic. The very same limited-edition hue that is currently featured on the 2014 Chevrolet Sonic.
Combined with mauve and crimson, Chevrolet’s Marketing Manager for Performance Cars John Fitzpatrick told Edmunds.com that you will be able to see this car a couple of miles away. Kind of like the limited Synergy Green from a few years ago, but not.
“I think a lot of people who want to stand out are going to go after that color,” Fitzpatrick said of the unique shade.
The Chevrolet Camaro’s online configurator does not, as of yet, have a sample of the painted color. Images of the Camaro designed in the new magenta flavor have not been released prior to the Chicago show, either. Also in line for production is the Camaro Spring Edition, which will be added to the lineup when the midwest begins to thaw.
