2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe Made Official For Detroit Auto Show

The 2014 North American International Autoshow is right around the corner, and will see the global debut of over 50 vehicles. General Motors itself will show the Corvette Z06, C7.R, 2015 GMC Canyon and now, as we’ve learned, the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe,  based on a NAIAS 2014 newsletter.

Spy shots of the vehicle have been floating around for some time, where we can subtly make out a more polished and refined shape, building off what the outgoing CTS Coupe started.

Sam loves to write and has a passion for auto racing, karting and performance driving of all types.

  1. When is the V coupe coming out?

  2. I’m going to be honest; I’m more interested in the ATS coupe than I am in the new Z06.

I already know the Z06 will be the blood-thirsty, axe-murdering, yellow-painted maniac as it has always been.

The ATS coupe will be a brand new car in a segment that GM has never been in before, and that puts more weigh on GM than the Z06 does.

  3. what about the refreshed ATS sedans?

  4. Thats great’n all…but what about the V sedan!? I’m anxious as all hell to see the baby V. Perhaps NYC instead? Aaaaaah who knows…we’ll find out soon enough i guess.

  5. The Z06 and C7.R are the only ones I’m really interested in immensely. I already know the Z06 will be my favorite Vette of all time. At least for a long time. Can’t wait to see it go on a killing streak.

  6. Hopefully it will have considerably more rear seat headroom than the CTS coupe but still retain at least some of the cool look.

  7. Now that i took another look at the spy shots, maybe they’ll be debuting the coupe AND the V coupe…my hopes are high for that now.

  8. The Detroit Auto Show can’t get here soon enough as far as I’m concerned. I hope we get to see both the regular coupe and the V.

  9. I’ll drink to that.

  10. I’m interested in them all. I mean I am a GM fan, mostly anything they debut I earnestly wait to see..

  11. I’m ALWAYS especially anxious to see the high-performance variant of anything GM, so as you would expect I cant WAIT for the Z06, atsv coupe and sedan as well as the next ctsv…notice the pattern here. I’m ESPECIALLY anxious to see the next ctsv because my old man has an ’09 ctsv sedan and i’m REALLY eager to see (and hear…which to an extent to me is more important) what the engineers and designers have done with the 3rd coming of it.

    1. Weird! My dad has a 2005 CTS-V. It’s not the best, but it has power and good looks!

  12. Back seat space should be at the bottom of any list of things people are looking for!

    1. Not that I’d ever get a Cadillac (due to cost), but I’d like to have backseat space, I understand that it is a coupe so you’d have to sacrifice it a little bit.

  13. Why are you concerned with the back seat space? Will you ever ride back there? If so then what the he’ll are you doing back there? If you bought the car then shouldn’t you be up front driving it?

Do you people buy stuff for you or are you sitting around wondering what people will think about the space back there?

  14. Brian, some people actually give a shit about people other than themselves, so they do care about rear seat space. Who knows, maybe elderly parents or grandparents may ride back there sometimes.

  15. So you let other people dictate to you what you do with your money! I thought you were a man! I guess not your still being told what to do like you were a little kid!

God dam man grow some balls and stand up for yourself, it’s your car if those people don’t like it then fuck them!

That’s right people that can tell other people to fuck off don’t have self esteem issue’s! People like me aren’t worried about what others think, it’s called back bone something my parents gave me and something you clearly didn’t get when you were a kid!

I say you owe your parents a bill for not teaching you how to stand up for yourself!

Buying cars so other people can be happy, what losers we have become!

By the way I own a 2013 malibu! Number 1 complaint about the car yep you got it back seat space! Did I give a dam nope! I didn’t even sit in the back seat before I bought it and to this day I could care less who or what sits back there!

Men use to be men! What the hell happened

    1. Brian, I do not get angry easily! So you WILL treat others (including me) with some respect! Otherwise, if you can’t manage to do that, you might as well get off the website! I understand when somebody is being a complete jerk, but when someone expresses their opinion, just accept the fact that there are different strokes for different folks!

Being a man means being selfless, courageous and respectful (unlike you) which is cold, hard, selfish and downright abusive.

I’m not going to waste my time telling you how the backseat space is very important, but I will say this: there’s a reason a backseat is in a car (to fit other passengers COMFORTABLY)!
