Few things get us giddy these days. The Callaway Aerowagon is one of them. Rendered above, it’s a 2014 Corvette Stingray shooting brake, and it’s amazing, dammit! Even more amazing is that Callaway Cars has made it official this week that the tuning company will build them, costing $15,000 on top of whatever the customer paid for their C7 Stingray (if they’re lucky enough to be at the front of the six-month waiting list at the moment).

This car is a disgrace!!!! Ugly as hell! A insult to those of us who love Corvettes and have ordered a 2014 Stingray!!!! Looks like a damn grocery getter!!!!!!!!!!
“A insult to those of us who love Corvettes”
You don’t speak for me or anyone.
sick sick sick sick SIIIIIIICK
I’m with you Turner, don’t like it at all.
Thanks Breid.
Ummm ??? I don’t know, I’m on the fence for this one. On one hand I think it looks ok, but on the other hand I don’t think it does something as beautiful as this any justice.
Callaway doesn’t always hit the mark. In this case, they have gone too far. What’s the point of this customization? Who wants their Corvette to look like a crossover vehicle??? Perhaps Callaway will install a supercharged 4-banger to complete the illusion.
Not my kind of car but it is something I believe would do very well in Europe. What many here tend to forget is that the Corvette is going to Europe this time in a serious way.
If one was to look around Ferrari, BMW, Bentley, Aston Martin and others have all done Shooting Brakes and the all have done well in Europe.
Time to stop the narrow thinking and start thinking about the other markets in this Global auto market and tailor some things for them if you want to force your products on them.
Why have past Corvettes and Cadillac’s fail in Europe? Because they did not offer what they wanted. When the Euro cars come here often they will have special option or models to adapt to the American market.
Europe is not America and you have to give them what they want. Just because it is offered does not mean you have to buy one but if it sells more product GM or who ever more power to em. T
The people with open minds tend to make the money and those with narrow minds tend to fail.
