A Tour Of The Underbody Of The 2014 Corvette Stingray: Video

With only two parts being carried over from the outgoing C6, it might be easier to name what hasn’t changed on the all-new 2014 Corvette C7 than what has. Car and Driver recently put the new sports car up on the lift and provided a technical breakdown of some of the new features, especially its underbody. Watch and enjoy:

  1. If only they could actually take the car to a shop and disassemble it and go into more detail about the different components in sting ray’s underbody

  2. Why the need to disassemble a new and functional car? Now with computer graphics, you can assemble and disassemble a car, rotate and zoom on each part, and see how each part works individually or in a system apart from the body.

    No need to get your hands greasy or waste time.

  3. I have to agree. 3D modeling isn’t as sluggish and time consuming as it was 20 years ago.

    The LT1 CG assembly video is perfect example.

  4. Sorry bro I’m a little old school, a computer generated image just doesn’t do it for me I want to see a real image.
