2014 Corvette C7 Stingray Not Part Of GM’s Revised Military Discount Program

Earlier this week we reported that GM is improving its military discount program to allow active servicemen and women to access a wider range of GM products at discounted prices. But we did not inform you that the ever-popular and oh-so-desirable 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray will be exempt from the program.
As it stands, demand for the new Corvette is huge, and Chevy has chosen to leave it out of the discount program. When you consider that demand is so high that some customers have paid up to $20,000 on top of the retail price to get a new C7 in their driveway, the move is not all that surprising.
However, military members shouldn’t fret. There are plenty vehicles in the GM stable that are available with a great deal, with more info and a full list of military pricing being available here.

The US bailed your sorry asses out, actually by a very sad and self serving president and you have the gall to leave out the US Military in your discount program. Proud and glad to drive a Ford, the car company that made it on its own, not by a handout. I hope that GM goes by the way of the rest of Detroit, out of business. You should be ashamed, very ashamed.
“and you have the gall to leave out the US Military in your discount program.”
One car, and only ONE car, is being left off the list. 30+ others vehicles are available.
Nothing in the post says to “leave out the US Military” in GM’s discount plan. I suggest you read the post, and not have a knee-jerk reaction to the posts headline.
The camaro SS is the military’s favorite ride when not deployed imho
Usually any car worth buying if you are an enthusiast doesn’t give special offers. Sometimes you have to pay over sticker. If you want it pay up!
Could not have said it better.
First of all it was not a hand out it was a loan! It’s one car, what pathetic scum bag you are! And lastly if your a ford fan why are you on this site?
They could have left out the Cruz and left the Corvette in.
They took off a car that the vast majority of service men and women can’t afford so it’s a non issue! F/H!
By the way Mr. Clapsadle, Ford’s Military discount program excludes the following FoMoCo vehicles:
“(not available on Mustang Shelby GT500, Mustang Boss 302, Focus Electric, F-150 Raptor, Taurus SE, and 2013 model MKZ and MKZ Hybrid)”

You still gonna say that GM should be ashamed for not offering the C7?
I would still like to know why people that don’t like GM come on this site
