Last weekend, the first shipment of dealer-bound the 2014 Chevy SS performance sedans arrived at the Benicia Port near San Francisco, California. The shipment of the Zeta-based RWD performance sedans left Adelaide, Australia on September 16th, meaning that it took roughly a month for the first batch of vehicles to reach U.S. shores.
And just yesterday, we have begun receiving reports from our dealer sources that SS has now landed on some dealer lots. Stay tuned as we find out how many units of the SS the first shipment contained.

Actually the cars were transferred to a different ship in Japan. I have been tracking this shipment since it left Outer Harbour to when a friend of mine took those Photo’s of the cars landing on US soil.
The second shipment should be a week and a half from landing give or take a few days. And the 3rd shipment left Outer Harbour Friday evening around 7pm
Yupp, you’re absolutely correct, Mark.
Noted and fixed.

If you hadn’t heard yet, the Holden VF Commodore and the HSV Gen-F are both basically Australian versions of the Chevy SS.

Maybe someday they will get an Australian version of the silverado.
Holden tried that with the suburban, to big a vehicle for the au market, only people who really want one buy them through an importer.
Also the first batch of SS have started leaving CA to their dealers, CA by truck, other states by train.
