The new Buick LaCrosse eAssist will be priced at RMB 249,999 ($40,823 USD) when it arrives in Chinese dealerships later this month. Dealers are now accepting pre-orders for the hybrid sedan in Chinas 25 energy pilot cities, where government subsidies are offered for cleaner, more efficient vehicles.
Shanghai GM has also launched its Buick Regal and Regal GS midsize sedans in the Chinese Market. Buick dealerships across the country are taking orders for five trim levels of the Regal and three trim levels of the sporty Regal GS, with deliveries beginning in mid-October.
The updated Regal will be available in China with three engine options, a 1.6 liter turbo, a 2.0 liter ECO and a 2.4 liter SIDI, with a 2.0 liter turbo being offered only in GS trim level. Prices start at RMB 199,900 ($32,600 USD) for the Regal and RMB 239, 900 ($39,100 USD) for the Regal GS.
