Macklemore Reminds Us Of The Classic Cadillac With “White Walls”

If you’re a metal fan, “White Walls” by Between the Buried and Me is probably the first thing that came to mind when reading the title of this post. This song by Macklemore is absolutely nothing like that. But the music video is fun to watch, featuring old Cadillac models dressed with, you guessed it, white wall tires.

The music video is definitely a departure from the official Cadillac ads, which emphasize technology and driving dynamics. Instead, it’s more about preserving the old-school, gold-chained, candy paint culture that classic Cadillacs seem to be centered in.

Fair warning, there’s a good amount of profanity, and mild debauchery. But it’s definitely not on the scale of “Blurred Lines.”

    1. I also liked the portfolio in this, but I was hoping for murdered out CTS-V WAGON.

Would have been sick to see the Ciel concept roll through this…why didn’t Cadillac lend it out for the video?!?

  4. Is this really the Super Bowl ad? I think it may alienate some buyers?

    1. Maybe if they add English subtitles it would work. Or just add some music.
