Corvette Racing Goes 1-2 In GT Class At Baltimore Grand Prix

Jan Magnussen made a third-to-first move to take the GT lead shortly after the final restart, and worked with teammate Tommy Milner to keep the competition at bay to score a 1-2 finish for Corvette Racing at the Baltimore Grand Prix this Saturday. The 1-2 finish was the team’s first since last year’s Laguna Seca round, and solidified the team’s lead in manufacturer’s standings.

At the same time, the Corvette Racing drivers sit on top of the drivers’ championship standings, with Antonio Garcia and Magnussen moving up into second place after their win, just two points behind Oliver Gavin and Milner with three rounds left in the season.

Notably, Corvette Racing will unleash the C7.R on the competition next season.

    1. It’s great to hear unbelievable achievements like these for the C6R, and it only has just a few races left before it’s time to retire its legendary career and pass the torch to the C7R. You should be proud to know how well the Corvette Racing team is doing because they helped create the new 2014 Stingray.

  2. a lot of the C-7 design features are required by the racing assoc. if the corvette race team wanted to use them on the race car.
