General Motors can barely get the 2014 Corvette Stingray into showrooms, and Callaway has already began to teased a supercharged version of the model. So, if you’re really, really, really impatient, and really need a supercharged C7, Callaway has one coming. Really.
If you live in the troubled state of California, don’t worry. Callaway promises that their Stingray supercharger kit is emissions compliable in all 50 states, according to Corvette Forum. For reference, the C6 Callaway C606 Corvette pushes 606 horsepower, is an 11-second car, and hits 0-60 in just 3.4 seconds. It’s a fair bet that the tuning company aims to beat those times. Meanwhile, the company is also approved to build Corvette C7 GT3 race cars. The plan is to include the supercharged C7 in the 2014 lineup.
