Spied: An Opel Adam OPC?

Auto Evolution published photos of a peculiar looking Opel Adam sporting flared wheel arches, additional air intakes, a five-bolt lug pattern, and larger brakes. A basic Opel Adam, this is not. In fact, a lot of signs point to it being a sort of Fiat 500 Abarth-fighting Adam OPC (or VXR, if you’re British). Will it debut as a surprise in Frankfurt? We hope so.

  4. Wonder what engine size cc & what the performance figures will be. Also I wonder if stripes will be an option? I think there an option on the Corsa would be nice as options on Adam, Astra, Insignia & VXR8.

  5. Wouldn’t be much good in rainy England but a Matt black bonnet to keep the sun from reflecting off it & dazzling the driver could also be a good option if not for its main reason but as a fashion accessory/custom/personalised performance option on VXR models.

  6. Love the development of an Adam’s family. With Rocks, OPC, and a Cabriolet there seems to be a entire range taking shape to challenge Fiat and to a lesser extent Mini.
Hoping these cars make it to Buick and that they retain Adam name.

  7. Hope like Mini & 500 the Adam job don’t end up with pointless body styles not needed.
