Many of the new K2XX-based GM pickups are built in Fort Wayne, Indiana. To celebrate such an occurrence, GM and the Northern Indiana/Ohio Dealers Association are sponsoring a daylong homecoming of sorts for GM pickup enthusiasts.
It will take place September 14th in Fort Wayne’s Allen County Memorial Coliseum parking lot. and include a huge parade of Sierras and Silverados, and some games, prizes, and maybe a truck pull or two. An estimate of nearly 1,500 pickups are expected to show up, which would make this event a contender for a Guinness World Record — if a Guinness representative were on hand. However, if that’s not the case, it could become an unofficial record even if 386 trucks are lined up.

We pass by a GM plant, not too far north of Ft Wayne, on our way to Florida. I’ve always wondered what they made there… now I know.
I have a feeling that there will be lots of overtime done in that plant.
Thus is a really nice truck!!! I just really don’t know Why motor trend just don’t really LIke it based on the throttle response
Ft. Wayne Plant is the best
