If your lifestyle suits it, electric vehicles have great advantages. One of which is saving roughly $150 a month in fuel costs, according to Chevrolet. And over five years, EV owners are likely to save as much as $9,000. In many eyes, that makes owning a 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV all the more alluring.
Quick math figures that the $9,000 in savings is based on those 2,480 gallons of gas selling at $3.62 a gallon, which means even more savings if the price is any higher, which in many states, is right now. Chevrolet gives some examples of what we could do with that savings, such as a flight for two to Bora Bora. But what would you do with the money you could save?

“Will we see charging stations around the city you live in?”
You mean the 220 volt service available in every single family home in North America? The driveway is the charging station.
You don’t need “charging stations”! You charge it at your home just like your mobile devices. Except that this is the only “mobile device” that actually moves you!
I hope ppl buy but you wouldnt catch me in that ugly thing for just $150 savings..
We have charging stations all over the place and at many stores you get preferred parking if you drive an electric car, including our malls. Our local Chevron dealer even has a 20 minute quick charge available at no cost.
The problem with the Spark is the overall styling of the car. Not bad for a 16 year old girl or city dweller, but not something I would want to drive on a daily basis.
Hey Dsuupr. Heck of a lot better looking than the Leaf !!!!!!!!!!!
