Like Chevrolet did with the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, the 2014 Camaro Convertible will also make its world debut in Europe, at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in the coming weeks.
The 2014 Camaro will arrive at select Chevrolet dealerships across Europe toward the end of the year, with prices starting from €39,990 for the coupe and €44,990 for the convertible in Germany. The engine lineup will consist only of a hearty 6.2L LS3 V8 engine.

More laying ground work for the new Alpha based car.
These Camaros they are offering now are only a lead in to the car that will better fit Europe in the next gen.
Cool, let’s show Europe how to make a real car with style. Ford is planning on making a Mustang to please the French- they like cars nice and small with 4 cylinders making it easier to surrender in. That new rear spoiler looks HORRIFIC. Does anyone know if they will offer the base model without it? Or a “rear ugly spoiler delete” option?
This car will not be any big sales hit in Europe but it will give the impression of what to expect with the new car only more tailored for their markets.
The size will hurt it as well as the lack of a 4 cylinder. Also the English market will be limited till they come through with RHD.
This is not the first export for the Camaro to Europe and it will face many of the same issues the last did.
So the “world debut” isn’t for a couple of weeks? Tell that to the people who already OWN a 2014 Camaro convertible — http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314570
How’s that work?
You have friends.
I saw a guy with a ZL1 convertible a good while before it was released. He had friends inside GM.
In life it is not what you know but who you know that counts.
It’s not my car – it’s an average joe who picked up the car from a dealership. This isn’t a GM vehicle, it’s a privately owned car bought at a dealership.
Great pictures, doesn’t that chrome “brightwork” in the front grille look stupid? It is really out of place. That rear spoiler looks mighty dumb.
I found a picture without that ugly rear spoiler, I guess some are already in the rental fleets. Wow, this car looks a lot better in base level trim. Looks MUCH better without that stupid fin on the back, the “built in” spoiler looks a lot better, no need to ghetto this design out. Base model doesn’t have that stupid chrome strip in the grille either, looks better. I like those base level alloys too. Reviewer lists the rear “Honda Prelude” tail lights as a con. That’s funny/true.

The 2014 Camaro back-end reminds me of the 1966 Impala. I still like the 2013 rear lights better, but, I do think the 2014 trunk/integrated spoiler looks better/cleaner. They removed some of the lines smoothing it out.
