You would assume that a tour involving the Chevy Corvette would take place in the United States somewhere, right? Apparently not, because the Corvette 427 Collector’s Edition Tour back in April took place in Switzerland. While it might not be a traditional spot for the ‘Vette, we have to admit that the fine Swiss people have much better backdrops than we do.
The tour itself featured Corvettes from a span of 60 years, including the very fun and fast C6 Corvette 427 Convertible, which we spent some time with ourselves. While we didn’t visit a college campus, a drag racing demonstration, or a Swiss Air Force Base, there’s no denying that Corvette fun can be had anywhere, which is what these tour participants were out to prove.

Looks like a lot of fun. The upcoming C7 should assure C6 427 will hold its value very well, being the better alternative in both performance and appearance departments.
@booo
We get it, you don’t like the C7, but why waste so much time nitpicking it? Or are you just a plant from ford or fiat (dodge) ? GM will most likely reduce the weight for the higher performance models (Z06, ZR1) and looks-wise I’m still waiting for the C7s rearend to grow on me.
No hate, simply disappointment. I explain clearly what disappoints me, too. If you knew a little about C7 design, you would quickly realize that weight reduction outside of stripping any amenities is not possible with C7 but then the typical Corvette owners will complain about this part.
You’re not a typical Corvette owner.
In fact, you haven’t proven that you own a Corvette, much less a car, or a driver’s licence.
You are a typical troll though. I do have to admit that I do not have a driver’s licence, I have a DRIVER LICENSE instead… It starts with a letter C…
Who is the Troll, Grawdaddy has been commenting on this site a whole hell of a lot longer then you have… Take your Fiat fetish somewhere else and suck on an egg while your at it… now you have pissed me off…
