It pretty much goes something like this: you either love wagons, or you don’t. And when it comes to the Opel Insignia Country Tourer, you either love the Epsilon-based ruggedized version of the Insignia wagon, or you don’t care for it.
Well, for those who don’t care for wagons, we bring you our rendition of the Insignia Country Sedan. Think of it as a Subaru Legacy Outback, or the Opel Insignia Country Tourer, but with a trunk. Granted, it’s likely that such a vehicle has a target market of roughly zero buyers — but it never hurts to dream.

These could have been Saturns, a way to differintiate the corky Saturn Brand. But anyway, RIP Saturn… Maybe they would work as Buicks but not sold on that… It really is too bad Opel is not over here.
Dude! Your Awesome! Thanks for remembering Saturns. I still have both of mine. Why buy new vehicles when these are still running great. And I agree, these would have fit in just fine 🙂
Saturn should have been rebranded Opel under Lutz. That quirky brand could have sold wagons and ate Outback’s lunch.
Imagine a Saturn with Adam, Zafira , Corsa, Astra OPC, and the Insignia line. It might have taken a bite outbof Chevy, too!
Interesting
Doesn’t matter. A waterfall grill would ruin it.
