If You Buy This Corvette Artwork, You Get A Free Corvette

You can buy a slew of different things for $150,000. Some people purchase cars at that level of coin, and others buy abstract paintings. If you’re indecisive, you can now have both.

An artist by the name of Timothy Raines partnered with the world-famous DuPont Registry to offer this enthusiast’s bargain to the public. If you have the cash flow for this abstract painting of a 1963 Corvette split window (pictured in the background), you’d get a real, mint 1963 Corvette split window with it, free. That’s some Billy Mays kinda magic right there.

Assuming the painting would fit inside of the car somehow, they could both be driven home, and sit in the garage, to never see the light of day again. But that would be a shame, since these cars are meant to be drooled on, and driven.

A metro Detroit native, Alex Sizeland is GM Authority's staff writer with a focus on covering GM culture and performance cars.
