GMC Uses ESPY Awards To Market 2014 Sierra 1500

This past Wednesday was the 2013 ESPY Awards, and GMC returned as the ceremony’s official vehicle, airing a pair of new television ads for the all-new 2014 GMC Sierra. The high-profile event, awarding the most spectacular athletes of the past year, provided a marketing platform for the 2014 Sierra advertising campaign.

GMC was also a sponsor of this year’s Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2013 ESPY Awards, which aired from Los Angeles. The award went to ABC News “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts. The award is given to those who best reflect the spirit of Arthur Ashe, who used his fame to advocate human rights. Watch the ESPY ad spots just below.

  1. No, I didn’t see it. I no longer will pay $100+ a month for cable TV and Internet.

Good commercial. I like how they attack the Ford Ecoboost. The Ecoboost efficiency doesn’t impress me.
