GM Sales Up 4 Percent Globally In The First Half Of 2013

Sales of General Motors vehicles on a global basis totaled over 4.85 million units in the first six months of 2013 — an increase of almost 4 percent over the same time period in 2012.

GM North America sales were up 8 percent and those of International Operations were up 7 percent, but sales in Europe and South Africa were down 6.5 and 1.0 percent, respectively.

  • General Motors excludes Iran, North Korea, Syria and Sudan from sales volume and market share calculations
