Cadillac Racing Goes 1-2 In Toronto

After finishing first and second at Lime Rock last weekend, Cadillac Racing repeated that result at The Streets of Toronto in the GT Class, with Johnny O’Connell taking his fourth victory of the season with the No. 3 CTS-V.R. Teammate Andy Pilgrim stayed consistent, placing second for the third race in a row. O’Connell completed 34 laps of the 1.755-mile Exhibition Place street circuit at an average speed of 86.302 mph, edging Pilgrim by just 0.479 of a second.

The result also puts O’Connell in the first place in overall driver’s standings, now ahead of James Safronas, who finished fourth. And after a two-week break, Pirelli World Challenge action will resume at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course August 2-4.
