National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park (aka Corvette Track) Groundbreaking Officially Announced

You may have alreaday heard about the National Corvette Museum’s Motorsports Park — a 184-acre, dual-track heaven of blacktop and apexes located adjacent to the National Corvette Museum and GM’s Bowling Green, Kentucky manufacturing plant — the birthplace of the Chevrolet Corvette. And it just so happens that the NCM will celebrate the groundbreaking of the $20 million motorsports retreat on Friday, June 28th at 9:30 am CDT.

The commemorative event will take place at NCM Motorsports Park Site, 500 Grimes Road, Bowling Green, KY 42103.

In attendance will be:

  • The fine ladies and gents of the National Corvette Museum
  • Corvette Racing‘s Doug Fehan
  • Commonwealth of Kentucky Tourism, Arts & Heritage Cabinet Secretary Bob Stewart
  • Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce

Currently, the event seems to be open to everyone who can make it. So… who’s up for a road trip?
