2014 Chevrolet Camaro Pricing Leaked?

The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro may have been priced for Britain, but pricing has yet to be officially announced for the U.S. market. Now, thanks to a leak on Camaro5, we may know just how much the 2014 Camaro will cost in America, down to every option.

The MSRP of the base LS V6 is listed at $23,455 — a $110 mark up from the 2013 model year. Meanwhile the V8-powered 2014 Camaro SS will begin at $32,995, which is $360 more than what we see in the 2013 model, and the ZL1 Coupe and Convertible will set buyers back at least $54,995 and $60,155, respectively.

The list doesn’t contain pricing for the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, but the expectation is that it will be even more expensive than the ZL1.

Meanwhile, the 1LE performance package remains at a bargain $3,500, while the optional Recaro seats will set buyers back another $1,995.

  1. of course we all want the Z/28, it could be over $70.000 in canada,(ouch) they still want over $60.000 here for a used 2012 ZL1 hardtop at our dealer, they have 3 used ones or should we wait for the new one ?

  2. Last Camaro was ’98 SS/SLP track setup. Cloth seats, no t-tops, and base everything else, would blow a ‘2000 Corvette off the track. All that at $35K. While Chevy was loading up the SS with weighty options, I bot a Boss 302 at $ 41K, as close to the ’98 SS as I could find. Add some Ford Racing suspension, frame strengthing, weight loss in the interior and cooling upgrades at about $2K, not to mention the “free” driving school (Track Attack), and I am amazed at this car. Now the Z28 comes along, probably at mega $’s, plus dealer gouge for a track/street Camaro. In that money I can get a Boss 302-S (not street leagal), after all why would you want to drive it on the street. Corvette has gone “geezer” and the Camaro/Mustang still draws in a younger buyer because of the cost, but really a Camaro more expensive than a Corvette.

  3. These cars are so expensive normal people cannot afford them anymore. GM is completely disconnected with its consumer base. Originally the Camaro was a pony car, an inexpensive, budget based product to bring fast cars to consumers. Now they are approaching Corvette prices. Am I really going to spend more than a year’s wages on one, come on GM!

    1. I have to disagree with that Conrad.
GM is starting to stop undercutting their competition, foreign or domestically. Car prices have gone up across the board. Same thing has happened with average price of products like milk all the way to gas.
It is commonplace for people to call these cars overpriced, but a European equivalent of a CTS-V or ZL1 Camaro, like the Mercedes AMG, Audi S and RS lines, and the BMW M line would run nothing short of $70k with no options at all. Just MSRP and tax/title/registration.

    1. your right, the 1LE is the best bang ,add a edelbrock supercharger ( installed a few) and you really have the best bang for the buck and 600HP with handling.

  5. Why would the Z28 be more expensive than the ZL1? Wouldn’t the Z28 be more akin to the Corvette Z06, not the top-line ZR1? The only real advantage the Z28 will have over the ZL1 will be lighter weight, in all other aspects the ZL1 will be a higher performance car.

    1. Actually, even though the Z/28 falls short of the ZL1 in horsepower, the car is superior in every other aspect in terms of performance, resulting in much quicker lap times by comparison.
