Think quick: what’s intuitive and customizable — just like a tablet — and comes inside a beautifully-crafted carrying case on wheels?
If you answered, “the MyLink infotainment system from Chevy” — then you’re correct! If you didn’t… well, then you’re not.
The award-winning (second-generation) MyLink system is making its debut in the tenth-generation 2014 Chevy Impala (and 2014 Corvette and 2014 Silverado), all in the name of “ingeniously connecting you to your life… and the road”. And that, ladies and gents, is American ingenuity to Find New Roads — as this new commercial describes:
The GM Authority Take
The concept of the car being a carrying case for a tablet piqued our interest — since we never really thought about it that way. Either way, the Find New Roads tagline, coupled with the American ingenuity catchphrase, seems to really be coming into its own.

Does the 2014 Impala have Siri Eyes Free?
I couldn’t find it with the brief time I had in the 2014 Impala… let me make sure I’m correct.
I have had my 2014 impala for 5 months and just recently got an iPhone. There is nothing in the owners manual about Siri Hands free, although the phone integrates in most other ways via Bluetooth. Being a novice with the iPhone, I have not tried to see what more is available when connected via the USB port. Looking at the GM adds for Siri hands free, I would say that the idea came about after the early release of the 2014 Impala. Maybe Chevrolet could make it available with just a software update at some point though?
