We’ve showcased a video of the new Cadillac “Luxperiments” here before. And your responses have been mixed, if not leaning towards a negative slant. After all, why would Cadillac destroy nice things like an old piano, a vintage clock, or in this case a lovely cake, for the sake of marketing? The best we can figure out is that it’s a metaphor of sorts — that this is not the gaudy old-style comfort Cadillac that perhaps many of the older demographics have become accustomed to, and that its current products (the ATS in particular) are finely-tuned, cutting edge machines that pave the way to the future.
So to compare the durability of an ATS to that of something edible really shows how far engineering has come. We think. See the results in the video below.
