As it begins to wind down its Bochum, Germany facility where the current-generation Opel Zafira Tourer is built, GM subsidiary Opel has officially announced that it will move production of the vehicle to Ruesselsheim starting 2015, where it will be made next to the Insignia.
Prior to the announcement, there was speculation that production of the Zafira Tourer would move to the Ellesmere Port plant in the U.K., while others figured it would be transferred to PSA’s Rennes plant in France, as it is PSA Peugeot-Citroën that will lead the development of the next-generation Opel/Vauxhall Zafira MPV.

GM tries to destroy the last rest of self-respect of the workers producing the company’s wealth. It won’t do her no good.
