GM aerodynamics engineer John Bednarchik recalls that some three years ago, there were multiple 1/3-scale models of varying designs for the all-new 2014 Corvette C7 Stingray. And after some wind tunnel testing and a final selection by the design team, development on full-scale Stingray Corvettes began, where Bendarchik and company were able to hone the aerodynamic properties of the vehicle.
The result of the effort is what we see now, with every scoop, vent, inlet, and extractor being completely functional from nose to tail on the all-new Corvette. Watch the brief video just below to get a glimpse of the process.
