In conjunction with the changes and updates for the end-user-oriented 2014 XTS is the Cadillac XTS “Professional Vehicles” offering. The livery-focused vehicle gets a total of five new features, including redundant radio controls and a rear sunshade for the rear armrest, a smoker’s package, electric variable-assist power steering, and a chrome wheel lock kit.
Here are the official RPO-level changes for the 2014 “Livery” XTS:
New Features
- (W28) Redundant radio controls for rear seat armrest
- (W68) Rear sunshade control for rear seat armrest
- (DT4) Smoker’s Package, includes cigarette lighter element and ashtray
- (NJ2) Power steering, variable assist, electric

- The W30, V4U, BQ9 and B05 chassis are incomplete vehicles that must be completed by a certified Cadillac Master Coachbuilder or final vehicle manufacturer. They are engineered for heavy duty application and coachbuilder conversion. Features include: Cadillac Professional Vehicle Protection Plan (3-year/150,000-mile coverage on W30, V4U and B05; 6-year/100,000-mile coverage on B9Q); 18″ 6-lug wheels and heavy-duty brake system; Reinforced body structure with unique parts for higher GVW rating; Unique front and rear suspension components; Heavy-duty steering components; Heavy-duty cooling system with high output fan/capacity radiator; Extended wiring harness and Standard inflator kit with optional full size spare

Do these use the 3.6 V6? If so, will the 3.6 TT be offered as an option as it is in regular XTS’s?
David — it doesn’t seem like the livery XTSs offer the LF3 turbo six as an option, so LFX N/A V6 for now.
Does the livery sedan ride on an extended wheelbase?
Some have a stretched wheelbase.
For instance, the W20 livery has the normal XTS wheelbase, but the W30 Coachbuilder stretch livery and V4U Coachbuilder Limo have a longer one.
My favorite, though, is the B05 Armored XTS… for obvious reasons 🙂
These cars look the part, but I’ve never seen one on the road. I’ve seen the standard car, but not the Professionals.
I just bought a W20 and the rear armrest controls are only on paper. I was told by the dealer that it is a mistake, they never put them on.
