2015 Chevrolet Cruze Spied Testing Again

Over on Motor Authority, we get a pretty good look at how the design of the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze is shaping, thanks to a fresh set of close-up photos. For one, the front clip takes a lot of inspiration from the Tru 140S concept, with a dash of Chevy Sonic. Meanwhile, we definitely see some miniature Chevy Impala in the back with the way the tail lamps widen outwards.

A quick shot of the interior shows that Chevy is keeping with its ice blue coloring of its gauges, while the shifter is a dead giveaway for a manual transmission. Is this the new Cruze Eco? Perhaps, perhaps not.

We do expect General Motors to offer far more variety with the next-generation Cruze, when it begins launching sometime next year as a 2015 model. Hopefully, this means coupe and hatch variants at the very least.

  2. Not my taste, the best looking Cruze is still the 2009-2012 version , I don’t even like the 2013 face lift.

  3. Looks like that new Cruze has a front end inspired by the Sonic and the 2013 Malibu……not sure about that…… The rear appears to be inspired by the Impala, better!

  5. It looks to have a very similar side profile to that of a Civic. Kind of a half circle greenhouse and also a much lower front end. I’m sure all of this is for FE, but it doesn’t look very “Chevy” to me. Hopefully things change with a formal reveal.

  6. There are postings of the Buick Verano replacement having a CVT. Anybody know if the Cruze is getting it?
