The GM Authority April Fools’ Day Roundup

Yesterday, many of you may have caught on that we published a few April Fools’ Day stories. Some of you enjoyed them. Some of you forgot what day it was. So as a recap, here are our 2013 April Fools’ Day stories from yesterday:

  1. GM Designer Scared Of Loch Ness Monster, Changes Corvette Tail Lamps
  2. Bob Lutz Recycles His Fighter Jet
  3. GM Purchases Bouvet Island From Norway
  4. Chevy Silverado HD Rated At 100,001 Pounds Max Towing

Once again, NONE of the above stories are real. And there’s plenty more where those came from, so stay tuned for next year!

  3. See there’s something I really hate in life and it’s someone messes with anything related to car news. I’m a passionate car guy and it makes April’s fool day and I believe it shouldn’t exist when it comes to car news.

  5. I’m with Nicolas, as a dyed in the wool car and car industry fan it irks me to be messed with. But all in all they were entertaining, no ridiculous is more like it. All four were unbelievable enough to catch right away. Nice try anyway.
